Job Description
  • The Procurement Lead will have full responsibility for the company’s overall purchases and is expected to create concrete and continuous year on year savings on the company’s total expenditure with 3rd party vendors.
  • To design and implement company procurement policies & strategies towards the achievement of corporate objectives.
  • To formulate sourcing plans for all categories of goods and services which provide the opportunity for strategic buying.
  • To take control of vendor relationships, forming strategic partnerships and ensuring the company’s best interests are served in all vendor interactions.
  • To be aware of new contract acquisitions, taking responsibility for helping to achieve cost saving commitments relating to each contract.
  • Lead the company’s procurement team in procurement best practice, innovations & strategic sourcing, providing appropriate mentorship and training to create a high achieving procurement department.
  • The Procurement Lead manages the relationship with the Operations team and other heads of functions to ensure their procurement needs are fulfilled and balanced in line with business needs.

  • Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills – ability to create and implement own itinerary with minimal supervision.
  •  Ability to respond to and deliver results against pressing objectives / targets set by others.
  • Self-starter – Able to drive own initiatives to completion but to align to an agreed structure of delivery.
  • Cultural Awareness – Must be able to successfully work with both colleagues and suppliers from across geographic boundaries and with different cultures.
  • Strong attention to details and accuracy; having the ability to multi-task effectively.
  • Ability to represent the company professionally in the third-party environment.
  • Effective communication and relationship at all levels within the business, particularly with senior management.

Be an individual who will be able to maintain focus whilst working within an ambiguous and complex environment.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in any related field.
  • Certificates in Supply Chain & Projects.
  • 5-8 years procurement management experience.
  • 3-5 Years’ Experience in Small-Medium projects.
  • Facilities Management experience is desirable.
