The MHE Operator will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of material handling equipment (MHE) within the warehouse or production environment. This role involves moving, loading, and unloading materials, maintaining equipment, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The MHE Operator plays a critical role in supporting warehouse operations and facilitating timely material availability for production.

Material Handling:

• Safely operate material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) to move materials within the warehouse.
• Load and unload materials from trucks and storage locations, ensuring proper handling and organization.

Inventory Management:

• Assist in receiving incoming shipments, verifying quantities, and inspecting for damages or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records, assisting with regular cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Ensure proper storage of materials to optimize space and prevent damage.

Documentation:

• Prepare and maintain accurate documentation for all inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, and transfers.
• Update inventory management systems with accurate data regarding stock levels and material movements.

Quality Control:

• Perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing materials, reporting any issues to the Warehouse Supervisor.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for quality assurance and inventory control.

Safety and Compliance:

• Adhere to safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
• Participate in safety training and contribute to maintaining workplace safety.

Collaboration:

• Work closely with warehouse team members to ensure efficient workflow and timely material availability for production.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to address any material-related inquiries or issues.

Housekeeping:

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all materials and equipment are stored properly.
• Dispose of waste materials and packaging in accordance with company policies.

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
• Additional certifications in warehouse operations or material handling are a plus.
• 1-3 years of experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or related fields.
• Experience operating forklifts or other material handling equipment is preferred
